We have received questions about our Home Study requirement and if families who are not required to have a home study are eligible for a Gift of Adoption grant.
Yes – if a home study is not required in order to complete an adoption, the family is eligible to apply. We will ask the agency or attorney to provide a statement attesting that a home study is not required for the family to upload as part of their application packet in lieu of a home study.
