This is an update of the U.S. Embassy policy regarding the visits of the fully vaccinated adoptive parents to the Embassy (that is, two weeks have passed since they received the full course of COVID-19 vaccination).
Under the updated policy, the fully vaccinated adoptive parents do not need to be in Bulgaria for five days prior to their appointment at the Embassy if they do not have symptoms and have not been in contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive.
Anyone not fully vaccinated must still wait 10 days after entering Bulgaria before entering the embassy.
